The MBTA Land Tracker was created as a user-friendly interface to the MBTA Property Inventory database which is maintained by TRA. Its use is currently restricted to MBTA employees.
The LandTracker contains records on all parcels of MBTA-owned property and information about that property, such as address, current use, size, title and other acquisition information, as well as graphics such as maps and plans associated with the property.
The purpose of the LandTracker is to provide users with a preliminary research tool in their search for information on what land the MBTA owns. The site is being updated constantly to reflect the changing nature of the MBTA's land ownership.
